A unique market in active growth
Influencer marketing in Uzbekistan is now in an active growth phase. Brands are choosing creators more often as a full promotional channel, and content quality is getting stronger as many creators already work with teams and production support.
KUDOS agency has been working with creators for 5 years and we have seen that, despite rapid growth, Uzbekistan remains highly specific. Approaches that work in other markets are not always effective here.
Entertainment format dominates in Uzbekistan
Compared with Russia and Kazakhstan, where lifestyle content is significant, Uzbekistan especially favors vines, humorous clips, mini-series and longer videos often starting at around two minutes.
Integrations must feel like part of the story. Narrative placements usually perform better because the ad is perceived naturally and does not disrupt content flow.
Language and local teams are not a formality
The Uzbek language is much more important than it may seem. Even when a creator works in Russian, content is often duplicated: separate accounts are created, Uzbek-language versions are recorded, and subtitles are added.
In Uzbekistan we always involve local specialists — influencer managers, creatives, and native speakers. This helps us build communication from local insights and avoid decisions that may look alien to the audience.
Cultural context affects performance
One of the clearest examples is our work with a leading local e-commerce brand. At the beginning we used a more European production mindset, and it became clear that the audience values national elements, cultural references, and local context.
After adapting the creative concept, response improved noticeably: content felt closer and more natural to viewers. Local relevance is often stronger than universal formulas.
How we organize the work
Over time we built a process that makes campaigns calmer and more predictable.
- confirm creator participation in advance
- rely on local expertise
- adapt ideas to the market
- respect content format requirements
